PLAYSCAPE
Teaming up with Barbara Chang and Tan Min Chuen and under the guidance of Mr Liu, we were tasked to design a playscape that interacts between a playground and architecture.
Children are stepping into a larger community at the age of 7-12, they become more perceptive and influenced by what they touch and play, where playground plays an important role in the growth of a healthy kid. When playgrounds are designed rigidly to tell children what to do, a “playscape” evoke flexibility of children in their mind and body. Stimulate them to think creatively and demonstrate their powers of balance and coordination in a complex climbing equipment.
