As the project progresses, we are tasked to design a getaway house on the same site, Botanical Garden. During the first visit to the site, there was an interesting structure that caught my eye and I was very intrigue by the structure. So I decided to go back the place and document the site again as my base and inspiration for my getaway house.
Through the second revisit to the site, I was able to capture the essence of the existing structure and reviving it into yet another usable structure for my getaway. Using a long time of thinking, I can up with several design that suits the existing structure by embracing the structure and leaving the nature unscathed.

After confirming the shape and spaces of it, I focus on altering the building to suits the climate, the structure itself and the space within it. During the interim, I overlook the thought on ventilation and lighting inside the space and I sought to improve the design.

After long consideration, I was able to come up with a design that was favourable to me and it was a very well done process as I was able to complete everything with in the course of 3 days with the help of Sketchup and Photoshop. The outcome lived up to my expectation and I was happy with it.
